Written and originally performed by Jucifer (Nomadic, Always On Tour). Like most of the friends I've included here, I met Amber and Ed while working at the Milestone. Once or twice a year they would come through on tour and it was always an occasion I looked forward to. Besides being a sheer sonic pleasure to witness live, they are some of the warmest and kindest people that I met during my time there. I would always jump at the chance to be on duty for their load in/out which would take about two full days. I was eager to get more time with them every chance I could. Though it has been years since we've seen each other physically they are never far from my thoughts. A truly dedicated pair on an endless tour pursuing the thing that they love. There are few things more admirable. This song was a joy to cover. Both because of the somber yet triumphant imagery of Amber's lyrics and because it was an interesting challenge to reinterpret the music from its original brutal nature.
