Written and originally performed by Big Business (Los Angeles, California). I first met Jared and Coady while working at the Milestone Club in Charlotte, NC and we stayed in touch over the years, occasionally crossing paths in different parts of the country. When I moved to Los Angeles we were on a show together and not long after they asked me to open for them on a six week U.S. tour. Because of this bonding experience they are now some of my dearest friends. They performed this song every night on that tour and I absolutely loved it and dreamed up the idea of covering it then. I'm thrilled to have finally made that a reality as it still speaks to me strongly.
